8개월간 보스턴의 AMC 에서 감상한 영화가 대충 서른편 정도 되는데, 그중 20 편 이상의 시작전에 이 뮤직 비디오의 '풀버젼' 을 들어야 했다. 미국의 극장에서는 TV 광고가 안나오는 대신 이런 미친 광고는 나온다.

 이게 뭔 노랜고 하니, 소위들 미국산 방위라 얘기하는 'National Guard' (이름 맞나?) 의 공식 CM 송 -결국 모병 광고- 으로 내셔널 가드 홈페이지에서 공짜로 다운 받을수도 있었다. 뮤직 비디오도 뮤직 비디오지만 가사가 정말 예술로 관심있는 사람은 가장 아랫쪽을 펼쳐볼것.

 미국사는 친척의 촌철살인 스러운 평이 딱 맞는 그런 노래다.

 '뭐 이딴 프로파간다가 다 있어.'

 아무튼 굉장히 미국적이다. 신검가면 가끔 틀어주는 국방부 영상하고는 비교도 안되는 간지를 느껴 보시라.
